Diabetes Support Welfare Society (DSWS) is a patient-centered welfare and support initiative dedicated to improving the lives of individuals living with diabetes and related endocrine disorders through awareness, education, counseling, community outreach, and accessible healthcare support.
Based in Lucknow, DSWS works toward creating a healthier and more informed community by promoting early diagnosis, preventive care, diabetes education, lifestyle modification, and emotional well-being support for people living with chronic metabolic conditions.

Our Objectives
- Early Detection & Management To organize diabetes screening camps for early detection and provide continuous support for individuals already diagnosed, ensuring better management and quality of life.
- Awareness & Community Engagement To conduct awareness programs such as “Walk Against Diabetes,” street plays (nukkad natak), and community drives to educate the public about prevention and control of diabetes.
- Patient Support Services To provide essential support to diabetes patients, including insulin, glucose monitoring strips, and glucometers, especially for underprivileged individuals.
- Professional Education & Training To conduct educational and training programs for healthcare professionals and allied support staff to enhance their skills in diabetes care and management.
- Support for Type 1 Diabetes Patients To assist individuals with Type 1 diabetes in accessing employment opportunities and leading independent lives.
- Social Support & Inclusion To support individuals with Type 1 diabetes in social aspects, including guidance and assistance related to marriage and family life.
- Accessible Healthcare Services To organize and run OPD services with diabetes specialists in peripheral and underserved areas.
- Rehabilitation Services To provide rehabilitation support for individuals suffering from deformities or complications arising from diabetes.
- Free Training & Education Programs To conduct free training programs focused on diabetes awareness, prevention, and self-management.
- Holistic & Sustainable Healthcare Approach To promote awareness, empowerment, and comprehensive care—including preventive, promotive, curative, and rehabilitative services—while encouraging environmentally and climate-friendly healthcare practices.
